To become and remain a Self-Manager a student needs to show that they are able to manage their behaviors and choices in the classroom, on the playground, the bus, the hallway, the cafeteria, the library... all around the school. This means showing respect in actions and words. This means showing responsibility in completing classwork and homework on time. It means doing your best work.
Being a Self-Manager is a responsibility. Others will see the badge and know that a self-manager can be counted on to consistently make good choices.
Self-Managers will be announced each Monday, based on the previous week. Self-Managers get to leave first for lunch, recess, and specials. They will be asked to do more jobs and help out when there is a need.
We will begin having Self-Managers in October.
